R.J. Dill to make a visit to UConn this weekend

Former Terps offensive tackle R.J. Dill -- who announced last week that he is transferring -- may be headed to Randy Edsall's old stomping grounds.

According to a blog by the Hartford Courant's Desmond Conner, Dill will visit UConn this weekend.

The 6-foot-7, 300-pound Dill has one season of eligibility remaining. After redshirting his freshman year, he started eight games in his first season, then started all 13 games as a sophomore and all 12 this past season.

He could play right away by enrolling at a school that offers a graduate program Maryland does not.

Dill is one of seven Terps with eligibility remaining who have announced their departure from the program since the end of the season, the latest being defensive lineman Cody Blue on Tuesday.
