Maryland point guard Melo Trimble received a personal YouTube invitation from newly crowned NBA MVP Stephen Curry to work with the Golden State Warriors star at his second SC30 Select camp, sponsored by Under Armour.
The four-day camp is for 20 of the top high-school and college guards.
In the video, Curry congratulated Trimble on a "great freshman season" and added that "you and the Terps are definitely heading toward some great things, looking forward to watch y’all develop."
Trimble will be working as a college counselor "to help me get, one, get better and to, two, lead these high school guys to new levels as well,” Curry said on the video.
According to InsideMdSports.com, which first reported the invitation, four players with Maryland scholarship offers have also been invited, including 6-foot-4 combo guard Markelle Fultz of DeMatha High and 6-6 wing/guard Josh Jackson of Southfield, Mich., the No. 3 player in the 2016 class according to ESPN.
