Maryland will not renew the contract of offensive line coach Tom Brattan, the athletic department announced Monday.
Brattan was the longest tenured member of the football staff, having been with the Terps for 13 years.
"We would like to thank Tom for all of his hard work and commitment to the University of Maryland football program," head coach Randy Edsall said in a statement. "We wish him the best in his future endeavors.”
Earlier this month Maryland lost defensive line coach Greg Gattuso to Albany, where he was named the head coach. Terps wide receivers coach Lee Hull has reportedly interviewed for the top job at Morgan State.
Brattan, 63, has more than 37 years of coaching experience and has also worked in assistant roles at Stanford, Northwestern and William & Mary.
