Maryland football to face Indiana in homecoming game this season

The Maryland football team will face Indiana in its homecoming game Oct. 28, the school announced Thursday.

The Terps are 55-34-4 all time in homecoming games. Maryland routed Purdue, 50-7, in last season’s matchup at Maryland Stadium, the Terps' first Big Ten game under coach DJ Durkin. They lost to Wisconsin, 31-24, the year before under Randy Edsall.

Maryland has dropped its past two games against the Hoosiers but won in Bloomington, 37-15, in 2014 for its first-ever win in conference play in its first Big Ten game.

The Terps wrap up spring practice with their annual Red-White game Saturday at Maryland Stadium.
