Maryland football releases videos on Twitter to advance spring game

While they might not quite as quirky as some of Maryland alum Scott Van Pelt’s best commercials to play on ESPN, give the Terps credit for pumping up the football team’s annual Red-White spring game Saturday in College Park.

The team released a series of short "Getting ready for the spring game" videos featuring offensive coordinator Walt Bell, center Brendan Moore and running back Ty Johnson, as well as a longer mic-ed up segment for second year coach DJ Durkin.

The video involving Bell, who seems to have caffeine running through his veins, is probably the most entertaining and believable of the shorter videos, while Durkin’s segment shows what his players experience in practice every day.
