Notes: Maryland played without all three of its injured starting linebackers against Clemson last week. This week, Edsall said one of the trio — Darin Drakeford, who is among the team's best tacklers — is expected to play.

Maryland offense vs. Florida State defense: Maryland has never won (0-10) at Doak Campbell Stadium. C.J. Brown will start again for Terps at quarterback. Against Clemson last week, he became the first Maryland quarterback to rush for more than 100 yards in consecutive games. Maryland has shuffled its wide receivers, placing Marcus Leak and Quintin McCree atop the depth chart. The Seminoles rank 11th nationally in total defense (284.7 yards per game) and lead the ACC in sacks. Sophomore DE Bjoern Werner has five sacks.

Maryland defense vs. Florida State offense: Florida State QB E.J. Manuel, injured earlier in the season, is back and passed for 239 yards and two touchdowns last week in a win over Duke. Manuel is second in the ACC in total offense. "He does erase a lot of mistakes with his legs," Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher said. Maryland started five freshmen on defense last week but expect to get LB Darin Drakeford back this week.
