Maryland tops Virginia Tech in ACC basketball opener, 94-71 [Pictures]
In front of a sellout crowd at College Park on Saturday, Jan. 5, the University of Maryland Terrapins got strong performances from freshmen Jake Layman and Seth Allen, and passed their first ACC test in striking fashion, dismantling Virginia Tech, 94-71.
