Maryland assistant men's basketball coach Dalonte Hill, who was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol in January, has settled his case.

On Wednesday, Hill received probation before judgment -- which is not considered a criminal conviction. Hill was fined $500 for the incident.

Maryland suspended Hill for two games after his January arrest. According to the police report, he was spotted “driving erratically” while making “abrupt and unsafe” stops and starts.

It was Hill’s second DUI, and his first since returning to his home state after a successful tenure at Kansas State. He is best known for earning the highest annual salary for an assistant coach in the country with the Wildcats ($425,000), and for recruiting Michael Beasley to Manhattan.
