"I thought that we were the better side after the first 15-20 minutes," Lions coach Adrian Heath told OrlandoCitySoccer.com after the 1-1 draw. "On a different night, if we take half of our chances, then we would've won the game comfortably. Our passing was a bit sloppy in the first half, but I think we began dictating things as we got into a rhythm."
The Lions have now tied a pair of MLS clubs, previously recording a 1-1 draw with Philadelphia Union.
Orlando City's next home match is at 6 p.m. Wednesday against the Columbus Crew.
