The Blast announced on Thursday that it has re-signed 14 players from last year’s Major Indoor Soccer League championship team and added four new ones.

In the fold for the 2013-14 season are goalies William Vanzela and Troy Hernandez; defenders Pat Healey, Mike Deasel, Stephen DeRoux and J.T. Noone.

On offense, the Blast returns forwards Lucio Gonzaga, Adauto Neto, Lucas Roque, Marco Mangione, Adriano Dos Santos and Jamie Darvill. Back at midfield are Max Ferdinand and Tony Donatelli. New additions are forwards Frederico Moojen, Diego Zuniga, Levi Houapeu (UMBC) and defender Daniel Carrera.

The Blast will be add four more players to round out its 20-man roster before the team opens its season on the road against the Rochester Lancers on Nov. 16.

Former captain and MISL Defensive Player of the Year Mike Lookingland and veteran forward Machel Millwood will not play for the Blast this season, according to general manager Kevin Healey.
