Bert Jones was a bum among superstars! I was Baltimore fan then. He wasn't even the man his father was.
But Joe Willie was more than just a superstar. He was a personality who made the NFL what it is today.
The most overrated QB who ever played the game. Namath threw more interceptions than TD's, lost more games than he won, completed just 50.1% of his passes, and managed a QB rating of 65.5!
Remember Bert Jones? Bert had a 78.2 QB rating, threw more TD's than interceptions, and a 56.1 completion rate.
Just another example of the network medias out of NY protecting their own.
