They're already selling T-shirts with the answer that Nats phenom Bryce Harper gave a Canadian television reporter who asked him if he was going to have a beer to celebrate his mammoth home run in Tuesday night's interleague game at Rogers Centre.
The guy was trying to play off the fact that Harper could legally do that in Toronto, where the minimum drinking age is 19 instead of 21, but he apparently didn't know that Harper is a Mormon, so he's forbidden to drink regardless of his birthday.
"That's a clown question, bro," Harper replied, and the Internet started to hum.
It wasn't the most incisive piece of reporting ever, but -- as a guy who has asked his share of "clown questions" over the course of my career -- I'm going to sympathize with the guy taking all the heat.
I mean, it's not like he asked Mrs. Lincoln how she liked the play.
