Starting rotation

Buck Showalter and Dan Duquette have a decision to make. Should they trot rookie Kevin Gausman (pictured) out to pitch against the Boston Red Sox on Thursday after another tough outing this past Saturday? There's no easy answer since both Gausman and Freddy Garcia got knocked around in their most recent starts. The top of the rotation was terrific last week. Chris Tillman (2-0), Jason Hammel (6 2/3 IP, 2 ER) and Miguel Gonzalez (6 IP, 1 ER) combined to go 3-1 with a 2.10 ERA, but the rotation as a whole was 3-3 with a 5.18 ERA.
