Former Orioles pitcher Rick Sutcliffe will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at Oriole Park on Friday, exactly 20 years to the day after he threw the first pitch of the ballpark's inaugural season in 1992.
I caught up with Rick this week and didn't have any trouble convincing him to take us on another nostalgic walk down memory lane...or Eutaw Street. He's the same great guy who had such a positive effect on the Orioles clubhouse during his two seasons here, so I'm pretty sure he'll get a very warm welcome when he walks out to the mound to relive that first pitch with Orioles Hall of Famer Chris Hoiles.
