The Orioles are going to catch a break this weekend against the Oakland Athletics, since the Oakland pitcher with the most wins -- Bartolo Colon, pictured (14-5) -- is on the 15-day disabled list and the other Athletics starter with double-digit wins (A.J. Griffin, 10-9) pitched Wednesday night. The Orioles need to get after Friday night starter Dan Straily, who has lost five of his past six starts, and Saturday night starter Tommy Milone, who has been vulnerable to the long ball (23 homers allowed). Jarrod Parker, who is scheduled to start the series finale Sunday, is 3-0 with a 2.15 ERA in August. He has given up more than three earned runs just once since May 6.
