Gene Sweeney Jr., Baltimore Sun
May 29, 2013
If we're talking about pure entertainment, the 2013 Orioles already have delivered enough excitement and suspense to keep their fans glued to their seats until the All-Star break, but that isn't going to get them back to the playoffs. What they need right now is more stability in the starting rotation and a calming breeze from the bullpen, but the pitching staff can't seem to get out of its own way. The only thing to do is keep scoring runs in bunches until Wei-Yin Chen gets back, Kevin Gausman settles in and Pedro Strop and Jim Johnson find their way again. Is that so much to ask?
