Buck's buttons aren't working

Orioles manager Buck Showalter has been furiously trying to squeeze a few more victories out of his roster, but this isn't 2012. He brought up Zach Britton to start Wednesday night to give struggling Miguel Gonzalez an extra day of rest, but all that did was give his bullpen an extra day of stress. Britton gave up four runs in the first inning and was lucky to get off the hook when the Orioles came back to tie the game. Then, as so often has happened this year, the Orioles staff threw that rally back in the ensuring inning. Sorry, folks, this is just not happening.
