Maybe they were just teasing us, but it really seemed like the Orioles were back in the American League wild-card race after Sunday's big comeback against the New York Yankees and Monday night's victory over the Cleveland Indians. The Tampa Bay Rays were slumping and the Orioles moved back to within two games of the second wild-card position at the start of a week of games against the Indians and Chicago White Sox. Well, the Rays aren't slumping anymore and the Orioles still found a way to lose the series in Cleveland, and now we're talking four games back with 24 games to go and three teams to overtake. Wow, that was quick.
