Starting rotation
Newcomer Joe Saunders (pictured) was the only Orioles starter to really struggle last week, unless you count Chris Tillman's injury-shortened outing Sunday. The rotation combined to go 3-2 with a 2.72 ERA, and the ERA was actually deceptively high. Take out Saunders' six-run debut and Tillman's quick exit (3 IP, 2 ER), and it drops to 1.30. Now, factor in that all seven games last week were against first-place teams and you've got to ignore the won-loss record and give the rotation some real love.

welcome to grade school. Who's going to grade these so called sportswriters?

You should add another position and that would be Manager. I give Buck an A+ and the front office has made some pretty good moves going into September!

Good grief.... How do you average all of those B's and a C with a few A's and come up with an "A" overall? What a tough grader! What does it take to get a few more A's? A ten-game lead in the AL East?
