Maybe the brief pitching crisis is over. Orioles starters had a solid week, getting solid performances from all the regular members of the rotation. Chris Tillman, pictured, delivered two strong performances and Zach Britton chimed in with a pair of decent outings to carry a large percentage of the load. Britton could be a wild card here, but he'll have to carry his best stuff past the fifth inning to settle into the regular mix. T.J. McFarland struggled in his first major league start, but was bailed out by Kevin Gausman in a big win over CC Sabathia and the New York Yankees. If Wei-Yin Chen comes back in the next week or so, it will temper speculation about a July pitching deal. The overall numbers (4-1, 3.83 ERA) were not spectacular, but the end justifies the means.
