Peter Schmuck's Orioles midseason report card
The 2013 season is well past its mathematical halfway point, but that can't be helped. The All-Star break still is considered the traditional midpoint in the season, so you'll just have to multiply everybody's quantitative stats by a factor of 1.69 to project them over a full 162-game season. There's no sense putting a letter grade on the performance of Johnson, who pitched just five times before going on the disabled list. His 8.49 ERA is a bit deceptive because most of the runs came in one spot start and an outing in which he was pitching hurt.
