Peter Schmuck's Orioles midseason report card
The 2013 season is well past its mathematical halfway point, but that can't be helped. The All-Star break still is considered the traditional midpoint in the season, so you'll just have to multiply everybody's quantitative stats by a factor of 1.69 to project them over a full 162-game season. While you try to do that in your head, here's our Orioles midseason report card.

Danny Valencia( Gene Sweeney Jr., Baltimore Sun / June 13, 2013 )
The Orioles brought Valencia into the mix because of his ability to hit left-handed pitching, but he only got to the plate at the major league level 65 times in the first half. He's got some pop, but he's another extra guy who was batting in the .230s when he got sent down to Norfolk.
