Peter Schmuck's Orioles midseason report card
The 2013 season is well past its mathematical halfway point, but that can't be helped. The All-Star break still is considered the traditional midpoint in the season, so you'll just have to multiply everybody's quantitative stats by a factor of 1.69 to project them over a full 162-game season. While you try to do that in your head, here's our Orioles midseason report card.

Wei-Yin Chen( Gene Sweeney Jr., Baltimore Sun / July 10, 2013 )
The loss of Chen for a couple of months to an oblique strain put quite a strain on the starting rotation, but his return last week was a breath of fresh air. He pitched seven innings and gave up just three hits to defeat the Texas Rangers and give the Orioles a big boost at a difficult time. His 4-3 record and 2.82 ERA are a small sample, but it's pretty clear he's the same pitcher he was last year.
