Peter Schmuck's Orioles midseason report card
The 2013 season is well past its mathematical halfway point, but that can't be helped. The All-Star break still is considered the traditional midpoint in the season, so you'll just have to multiply everybody's quantitative stats by a factor of 1.69 to project them over a full 162-game season. While you try to do that in your head, here's our Orioles midseason report card.

The past few seasons have been a tremendous struggle for Reimold, who has shown flashes of brilliance at the plate only to have each attempt to establish himself undermined by injury. This year has been no exception, so there's no way to fairly evaluate his performance. He clearly isn't suited to the DH role and he's not going to push McLouth out of left field. He gets credit for working hard to overcome each obstacle, but the .195 batting average is still impossible to overlook.
