The Orioles led the major leagues with three Gold Glove winners on defense last year, and they did it at three of the all-important middle-defense positions. J.J. Hardy has been one of the most consistent shortstops in the league since he showed up in Baltimore and both Matt Wieters and Adam Jones still appear to have significant untapped upside. Brian Roberts may or may not end up rounding out the middle defense, but the Orioles also figure to be solid defensively at second base with speedy newcomer Alexi Casilla.
