The Melky way: The news that Giants outfielder Melky Cabrera was suspended for 50 games for a performance enhancement violation raised an intriguing question in the Orioles clubhouse. The O's are still in the conversation for the postseason, so inquiring minds are wondering if the National League should still get home field advantage in the World Series based on an All-Star Game victory in which the MVP may have been cheating. It would be a more interesting question if Cabrera had delivered the game-winning hit in a close contest, but his homer came well after the NL had taken control of the game.
