The bottom line

The Orioles have a right to feel pretty good about winning four of their past five games before the All-Star break, but going 4-3 over a week-long homestand -- even against a couple of big-swinging teams -- has to be considered something of a push. The big positives to come out of the week were the triumphant return of Wei-Yin Chen and the fact that Adam Jones left for New York feeling pretty darn good about himself after a very tough stretch at the plate.
