Man fatally shot, detectives find toddler in car

Big bowl bounce

The Maryland football program could use a little more momentum as it prepares for the daunting move to the Big Ten next year. The Terps have a chance to improve on Randy Edsall's first winning season as head coach when they face Marshall in the Military Bowl on Friday at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis. The Thundering Herd is a slight favorite after averaging 43 points per game this season, so the Terps may need to ask Navy for some air support.
