Decision Day for Aaron and Andrew Harrison has been moved up a month.

After initially planning on revealing their decisions on their birthday in October, the five-star twins revealed this week that their announcement will come in September.

The Harrisons will choose from among Kentucky, Villanova, Baylor and Maryland and have said they want to end the process before their senior season starts.

* Queen Anne's County power forward Damonte Dodd was an unknown 2012 prospect when he committed to the Terps in February. Five months later, the big man bound for Massanutten Military Academy (Va.) is a highly rated class of 2013 player. Dodd, who reclassified and will do a year of prep school before enrolling at Maryland next summer, checked in as the No. 79 prospect nationally in Scout.com's new 2013 rankings.

* TerpsInsider.com caught up with Philadelphia point guard Rysheed Jordan for an update on the five-star prospect's recruitment.

As for the Terps, "I like Maryland. It's got a nice facility and a nice campus. I like the way the guards play, the way they run up and down the floor. I like the offense."

* The Gazette profile Suitland point guard and potential Maryland target Roddy Peters.

Peters (6-foot-3) has received offers from Xavier, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Miami, UMass, St. Joseph's, Cincinnati and Rutgers. In addition, Maryland, Georgetown, Texas, Memphis, Tennessee and Illinois — or as Peters puts it, “everybody, really” — have shown interest.

* NBE Basketball Report this week offered an update on Terps junior point guard target Kaleb Joseph.

Joseph holds offers from Maryland, Pittsburgh, Providence, Boston College and Tennessee and it also being recruited by Georgetown, Connecticut and Kansas State. Kevin Ollie has been the main recruiter for UConn and has had a strong impact on Joseph as a long time NBA player who played the same position.

* NBE Basketball Report also took a look this week at D.C. Assault power forward Junior Etou.

The likes of “Memphis, Miami, West Virginia, Arizona, Maryland” are recruiting him, shared Etou during the National Basketball Players Association Top 100 camp. The first two are the institutions that have tendered scholarship offers. Since then the likes of Cincinnati has also entered the picture.
