Hobbies: Playing pickup sports with friends
Intended major: Biology
Something that not many people know about you: “That I’m smart. Everyone just kind of figures that I'm a dumb jock."
Best football moment: “I would have to say winning in the first round of playoffs my 10th-grade year against Sprayberry. That was really huge -- the first really big game I played in and played really well."
Role model: “I had a bunch of role models growing up, but the two [that stand out] most were my trainer, Jeff Klein, who worked with me since I was in the sixth grade. He's a big mentor to me. And my two cousins, Carl and Greg, who both played college football [at New Mexico State]. They mean a lot to me, too."
Why Maryland? “Between just the fit and me really liking the campus, the academics and the coaching staff, it all just seemed to come together to be the place I was meant to go to."
