The evolution is now televised, at least according to one YouTube poster.
Late Friday night a video was posted to the website identifying it as Colts quarterback Peyton Manning throwing at Duke University on Friday afternoon.
Labeled "Peyton Manning throwing at Duke University Friday March 2, 2012", it show a quarterback throwing four passes from a distance off what appears to be cell phone video.
It lasts 28 seconds and was posted by the user "dukenc2012" and is the only video uploaded to that account.
There is no official confirmation that it is indeed Manning throwing, but the cadence sounds before the throws are similar to that of the quarterback whose been with the Colts since 1998.
ESPNNFL reporter Chris Mortensen said the network got official confirmation that the person throwing in the video is indeed Manning.
Add this episode to the growing speculation that will climax on March 8th, when Colts owner Jim Irsay will decide whether or not the team will pick up the quarterback's 28 million dollar option for the 2012 season.
Debate continues over whether Manning has fully recovered from a series of neck procedures done prior and during the 2011 season. There is also the issue if the Colts will move on and begin work with likely No. 1 draft pick Andrew Luck, the highly-touted signal caller out of Stanford.
