Perry Meridian rallies to upend Pike

INDIANAPOLIS - A flag held by one of the players on their sidelines implores Perry Meridian players to continuing playing until the game is over.

It looks like the Falcons players were able to see that even across a rain-swept field.

Perry Meridian fell behind Pike 14-0 early in the second half but rallied back to score the final 18 points of the game to score a 18-14 win over the Red Devils.

The surprise brings the Falcons record up to 4-4 on the season while Pike drops into a second-place tie with Southport, who beat Bloomington North 18-7.

Scott Marsh's team will now have a chance to finish the season over .500 if they can beat Bloomington South at home next Friday night. Pike will try to stay in second place as they travel to Franklin Central.
