Pacers figure to be a focus of NBA free agency

Already reports are abound about the future of current Pacers Roy Hibbert and George Hill and even potential free agent pickup Eric Gordon.

INDIANAPOLIS - Free agency was barely hours old when the first rumors of the what could happen with the Pacers over the next 11 days began.

First reported by SI.com on Sunday was the news that Pacers center Roy Hibbert-a centerpiece of the team's rebuilding efforts since 2008-could be on the move.

The website reported that Hibbert was offered a max contract of four-years for 58 million dollars with the Portland Trail Blazers, which the Pacers will have the right to match since he is a restricted free agent.

Officially Hibbert cannot sign with the Blazers until July 11th and if he does, the Pacers will have three days to match the max contract offer to keep the center.

On the flipside restricted free agent Eric Gordon may have interest in coming to the Pacers. The Indianapolis Star and the New Orleans Times-Picayune reported that the Indianapolis native and former Indiana guard had a visit with the Pacers on Sunday.

Pacers guard George Hill is also a restricted free agent for the Pacers.
