Miami Dolphins legendary quarterback Dan Marino on Sunday paid a heart-warming visit to his former AFC East rival Jim Kelly, who is battling oral cancer in an upstate New York hospital.
Kelly's wife, Jill, shared the touching moment via social media.
Marino and Kelly -- both NFL Hall of Famers -- are long-time friends, dating back to their memorable playing days in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Kelly's wife recently posted a moving video (watch it below) on her Instagram account of the former Buffalo Bills quarterback, following his last round of radiation treatment at Erie County (N.Y.) Medical Center.
Marino wasn't the only notable visitor as Kelly's former coach at the University of Miami, Howard Schnellenberger, and former Bills and Colts general manager Bill Polian also visited.Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
