Breshad Perriman activated off PUP list, will start practicing

The Ravens will have a walk-through practice this afternoon and second-year wide receiver Breshad Perriman will be part of it.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh announced today that Perriman, the team's first-round pick in the 2015 draft, has been activated from the physically unable to perform list.

Perriman missed his entire rookie season with a knee injury and then he sustained a partially torn ACL in his left knee during the final week of organized team activities.

"He’ll continue to practice as the trainers allow him to," Harbaugh said.

Ravens defensive performance against starting QBs is concerning

Mike Preston
The Baltimore Sun

After two preseason games, the Ravens defense is starting to become a concern.

It's nothing major, not like it's time to make a major trade or say this group won't get better. But the style of play that is usually on display in Baltimore has been missing. This group just hasn't been physical, despite it's 2-0 start to the preseason after Saturday's 19-18 win in Indianapolis.

The Ravens don't dominate or intimidate.
