Yanda, Pollard return to practice for Ravens

The Ravens got some good news Friday as right guard Marshal Yanda and strong safety Bernard Pollard returned to practice Friday.

Yanda had missed the previous two days of practice after suffering bruised ribs and a bruised thigh in Saturday’s 20-14 win against the Cleveland Browns. Yanda will likely be limited, but it’s unclear if he will have demonstrated enough to start against the Cincinnati Bengals in the regular-season finale for both teams.

Pollard did not practice Thursday because of an illness. He is expected to make his 12th consecutive start.

Wide receiver Anquan Boldin also made an appearance Friday. Boldin, who underwent surgery a week ago to repair a slightly torn meniscus in his knee and has already been ruled out for Sunday’s contest, ran and did a little work on the side.

Inside linebacker Dannell Ellerbe was the only player missing from the portion of practice open to the media. Ellerbe, who is dealing with post-concussion symptoms, did not practice Wednesday or Thursday.

Defensive end Cory Redding (right ankle), cornerback Cary Williams (post-concussion symptoms) and kicker Billy Cundiff (left calf) – all of whom were limited Wednesday and Thursday – were present and active. Defensive tackle Arthur Jones, who did not practice Wednesday because of an illness, was also present.
