Loser: New York Jets

The Jets' first two picks were fine: Alabama cornerback Dee Milliner, even though there will be plenty of pressure on him as a replacement for Darrelle Revis, and defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson. It's the third selection of West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith that could make the Jets an even bigger circus this year. This could be a huge quarterback controversy. They can't unload Mark Sanchez because of his $8.25 million guaranteed in his contract. It's going to be an awkward year for Jets coach Rex Ryan, one where he'll have to win to hold onto his job. At least he's accustomed to dealing with controversies. Smith has a lot of upside, but there are concerns about his decision-making, holding the football far too long and a tendency to fumble.
