Ravens coach John Harbaugh expressed hope earlier in the week that his team is getting healthier and that appears to be the case heading into Sunday's game against the New York Giants.
Only three Ravens - running back Bernard Pierce (concussion), wide receiver Tandon Doss (ankle) and safety Bernard Pollard (chest/ribs) - were not present at this morning's practice at the Under Armour Performance Facility.
Pierce, Doss and Pollard haven't practiced all week, making it unlikely that they'll play Sunday. It would be the second straight game missed for Pollard. Veteran James Ihedigbo, who created an anxious moment this morning when he fell to the ground during a special teams drill, will likely start in Pollard's place.
Wide receiver Torrey Smith (concussion) was practicing for the second straight day but as of yesterday, he hadn't been cleared for contact drills yet. Fullback Vonta Leach, who has already said that he'll play through an ankle sprain, returned to practice after not participating yesterday.
Tight end Ed Dickson (knee), guard Marshal Yanda (ankle), linebackers Terrell Suggs (biceps), Dannell Ellerbe (ankle) and Albert McClellan (hamstring), defensive tackle Arthur Jones (shoulder) were all at practice today.
Linebacker Ray Lewis (triceps) was also practicing. The Ravens will have until tomorrow at 4 p.m. to activate Lewis from the injured reserve with a designation to return list. The corresponding roster move for Lewis would be placing linebacker Jameel McClain, who is out for the rest of the season with a neck injury, on injured reserve.
