Three defensive starters return to practice for Ravens

Three defensive starters who were sidelined Thursday, returned to practice today, a good sign ahead of the Ravens' key AFC North clash against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.

Rush linebacker Terrell Suggs, who was added to the injury report Thursday with a foot injury and did not practice, spotted reporters on his way out to the practice field this morning and jokingly broke out into an exaggerated limp. He then started jogging, as if to let everybody know that the team leader in sacks will be ready to chase down Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton on Sunday.

Middle linebacker Daryl Smith, the Ravens' leading tackler, and cornerback Jimmy Smith also were both practicing after they were sidelined the past two days with thigh and groin injuries, respectively.

Veteran wide receiver Brandon Stokley (thigh) also was practicing for the first time this week. Left guard Kelechi Osemele (back) is the only player who has already been ruled out for Sunday's game.
