One day: Metrodome roof collapse

After a severe winter storm in Minneapolis, part of the Metrodome's roof collapsed under the weight of nearly two feet of snow. The cave-in forced the Minesota Vikings to face off against the New York Giants a day later in Detroit. A week later and the Metrodome still in disrepair, Minneapolis rallied removed more than 40,000 cubic yards of snow from the open-air TCF Bank Stadium so the Vikings could play the Chicago Bears in front of a home crowd of 40,504.
