The Ravens tried out four wide receivers and two quarterbacks Tuesday, according to a league source.
Wide receivers Kamar Aiken, Dan Buckner, Charles Hawkins and Quentin Sims and quarterbacks James Vandenberg and Nick Stephens worked out for the Ravens. But the team didn't sign any of the players.
Aiken (Central Florida) has previous stints with the Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears and New England Patriots, but no statistics in a regular-season game. He tried out for the Chicago Bears last Friday.
Buckner (Arizona) has played for the Arizona Cardinals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Hawkins (Southern) was on the Cardinals' practice squad, while Sims (Tennessee-Martin) went to training camp with the Patriots.
Vandenburg (Iowa) went to training camp with the Minnesota Vikings, and Stephens (Tarleton State) has played for the Tennessee Titans and Dallas Cowboys.
Former Ravens fourth-round strong safety Christian Thompson, who was released after serving his four-game suspension for violating the NFL substance-abuse policy, tried out for the Cincinnati Bengals. He wasn't signed, though.
