The Ravens tried out Canadian Football League middle linebacker Henoc Muamba on Monday, according to a league source.
He wasn't immediately signed to a contract.
Muamba, 24, is a 6-foot, 230-pounder who was drafted first overall by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the 2011 CFL draft out of St. Francis Xavier University in Canada.
Muamba was voted the Blue Bombers' Most Outstanding Player, Most Outstanding Defensive Player and Most Outstanding Canadian this past season. He recorded a career-high 106 tackles with one sack, one interception, one fumble recovery and one touchdown. Last week, the Ravens tried out CFL defensive end-outside linebacker Cordarro Law (Calgary Stampeders, Southern Mississippi) and former Seattle Seahawks linebacker Craig Wilkins (Old Dominion). Neither player was signed, though. firstname.lastname@example.org twitter.com/RavensInsider
