The honors keep coming in for Ravens rookie wide receiver Torrey Smith.
Smith today was named the AFC's Offensive Player of the Week after he caught six balls for 165 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens 31-24 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday.
In that game, he joined Ken Burrow (two in 1971) and Randy Moss (three in 1998) as the only rookies in NFL history to have multiple games with at least 150 receiving yards and a touchdown catch.
On the season, Smith has 29 catches for 590 yards and five touchdowns. He currently leads the NFL with a 20.3 yards-per-catch average. Four of Smith's five touchdown receptions have gone at least 25 yards, and he's averaging 39.4 yards per touchdown catch.
Smith is second among all rookies in receiving yards, trailing only the Bengals' A.J. Green (635). Smith's 590 yards are the most for a rookie in franchise history.
