The NFL Network's Warren Sapp just said this morning that he exchanged text messsage with Ray Lewis, and the Ravens linebacker said that he will not play this afternoon against the Cincinnati Bengals at M&T Bank Stadium.
Lewis hasn't practiced all week because of a toe injury that forced him to see a foot specialist on Thursday.
If Lewis is definitely out, it will end his streak of 57 consecutive regular-season games played. Lewis, a 12-time Pro Bowl performer and a two-time Defensive Player of the Year, has not missed a game since sitting out the final two games of the 2007 regular season.
The Ravens' official inactive list will come out around 11:30 a.m.
