Avoiding the debauchery and merriment of the French Quarter is among the Ravens' priorities as they prepare for the San Francisco 49ers.
As usual, there will be curfews for the Ravens like there are for all NFL teams. And the team will have a contingent of team security and local law enforcement to keep the players and coaches safe.
"We do have a plan for that," Ravens coach John Harbaugh said. "Our leaders, we've already had that conversation. It will be very important for us to understand that this is a business trip, first and foremost. We want to enjoy all the things about it that make it special. You can do all those other things anytime. You can do them next week, but you're not going to be going to the Super Bowl next week.
"You're going to be going to the Super Bowl this week, and it's a very special moment. Lets enjoy all the things pertaining to the football game and preparation and all those things and time with family. That will be our priority. I will be shocked if our guys have their focus on anywhere but that, and I know our leaders are going to be a big part of that."
