The Ravens will distribute their Super Bowl XLVII rings to players and coaches at a private ring ceremony June 7, according to a news release.
Jostens, which also designed the Ravens' Super Bowl XXXV rings, stated that the "design of the ring celebrates the 2012 season, while also paying tribute to the rich tradition of one of football’s most successful franchises. Elements from the season and the franchise’s history will be incorporated into the ring’s final design, truly symbolizing the success of the team and the Ravens organization."
In a statement, Ravens team president Dick Cass said: “We’ve enjoyed working with Jostens on the creation of our Super Bowl XLVII Championship Rings. We have created a beautiful ring that I believe everyone in the organization will be proud to wear, and we look forward to presenting them and seeing our team’s reactions.”

The Ravens defeated the San Francisco 49ers at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans as quarterback Joe Flacco was named the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player after delivering three touchdown passes.
Flacco and middle linebacker Ray Lewis, who retired after the Super Bowl, were consulted on the design, according to Jostens.

The Ravens announced that they are working with Jostens to create a jewelry collection for Ravens fans, a limited edition of jewelry to debut June 7 that will be inspired by the Super Bowl XLVII championship ring.
