Ravens sign Aldrick Robinson, Allen Reisner to practice squad, cut LaQuan Williams

Speedy receiver Aldrick Robinson will replace LaQuan Williams on the Ravens practice squad.

The Ravens signed former Washington Redskins wide receiver Aldrick Robinson to the practice squad and cut former Maryland and Poly wide receiver LaQuan Williams.

The Ravens also signed tight end Allen Reisner to the practice squad.

Nickel back Danny Gorrer was placed on injured reserve with torn medial collateral and posterior cruciate ligaments after the signing of veteran cornerback Antoine Cason.

Robinson was a 2011 sixth-round draft pick by the Redskins from Southern Methodist. He has caught 30 passes for 608 yards and five touchdowns, including one pass for six yards in five games this season.

At SMU, Robinson ran the 100 meters in 10.49 seconds and 200 meters in 21.48 seconds. He was an honorable-mention All-Conference USA selection. At the NFL scouting combine, he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.35 seconds.

Williams was signed to the practice squad last week.

Williams originally signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2011. He spent two seasons with Baltimore, contributing primarily on special teams before being cut twice in the past year.

Last season, Williams signed with the New England Patriots before being cut in November without ever playing in a game for the Patriots.
