Lewis, a 12-time Pro Bowler, did not practice for the third consecutive day, but the team still listed him as questionable for the upcoming clash with its AFC North rivals. Lewis, who is dealing with a toe injury on his right foot, has missed the past two games.
Three players who fully practiced all three days this week – inside linebacker Dannell Ellerbe (hamstring, groin), defensive tackle Arthur Jones (post-concussion symptoms) and rookie running back Anthony Allen (thigh) – are probable for Sunday.
The Browns will play without starting strong safety T.J. Ward after ruling him out. Ward missed his third straight practice with foot and finger injuries.
Two more starters in free safety Mike Adams and right tackle Tony Pashos are questionable. Adams, who practiced on a limited basis for the second consecutive day, has been hampered by an injured shoulder. Pashos was limited for the third straight day by an ankle injury.
Three more starters in quarterback Colt McCoy (right elbow), running back Peyton Hillis (hamstring) and fullback Owen Marecic (head) fully participated for the third consecutive day and are listed as probable.
