Ravens rookie linebacker Arthur Brown, the team's second round pick out of Kansas State, should get more playing time Sunday against Green Bay, especially if the Packers throw a lot.
Brown suffered a pectoral strain against Houston and missed the Buffalo game before returning last week against Miami.
He took 23 snaps against the Dolphins, basically in sub packages when the Dolphins went to three receivers, or in passing situations. Brown had only one tackle, but he knows that was just a tune up.
More action could come his way Sunday. Brown will probably sub for Josh Bynes at the inside position.
"It was different on the sideline," Brown said. "You see the game from a different perspective and you become more appreciative of the guys on the team and the coaches. It was all positive."
Brown says he weighs 230 pounds, but the real problem has been not being able to lift weights. He has always struggled keeping up his weight and the lack of lifting might hurt.
"I can lift now, but it is moderate lifting, not heavy," said Brown. "I'm not 100 percent, but once you get hurt, you never are. You just go out there and do the best that you can. Last week was a stepping stone, a good chance for me to get the feel of it again."Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
