After being sidelined for a week with swelling in his surgically repaired knee, Ravens offensive lineman Ramon Harewood returned to practice Sunday.

Harewood had microfracture surgery after joining the Ravens as a sixth-round draft pick from Morehouse four years ago. He went to a doctor recently to have his knee examined.

Two players with new, undisclosed injuries: strong safety James Ihedigbo and wide receiver David Reed.

Ihedigbo displayed signs of pain at the close of practice Friday, but coach John Harbaugh said there were no serious injuries sustained. Reed has a history of knee problems.

Meanwhile, Pro Bowl offensive guard Marshal Yanda still isn't practicing after undergoing offseason rotator cuff surgery. Yanda said last week that he's on track to return during training camp.

Also not practicing in Sunday's session at Navy: rookie offensive lineman Ryan Jensen (broken foot), rookie defensive lineman Kapron Lewis-Moore (anterior cruciate ligament, non-football injury list) and inside linebacker Jameel McClain (spinal cord contusion, physically unable to perform list).

Tight end Dennis Pitta has been declared out for the season after undergoing surgery to repair the damage to his fractured, dislocated hip with a small bone fragment removed.

The Ravens have yet to officially place him on injured reserve.
